Marta Belcher
Marta Belcher is the General Counsel and Head of Policy at Protocol Labs and the President and Chair of Filecoin Foundation and Filecoin Foundation for the Decentralized Web. She also serves as special counsel to the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Marta is a pioneer in cryptocurrency law and has spoken on the topic around the world, including in U.S. Congress, European Parliament, the New York Senate, the OECD, and in Davos during the World Economic Forum. Marta has drafted amicus briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. appellate courts for high-profile public interest organizations, including EFF, the Center for Democracy & Technology, Public Knowledge, the Cato Institute, the National Consumers' League, Project Gutenberg, and the Blockchain Association. Marta has been recognized twice by the Financial Times Innovative Lawyer awards, was named to Law360's list of Top Attorneys Under 40, and was #18 on CryptoWeekly’s list of Most Influential Women in Crypto.
Megan Klimen
Megan Klimen is the Co-Founding Officer of Filecoin Foundation and Filecoin Foundation for the Decentralized Web. Previously, she was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of 3Scan, a biotech startup that developed 3D robotic serial sectioning microscopes, with the mission of enabling big data analysis of human tissue for applications including clinical diagnostics, drug discovery, 3D organ printing, and brain mapping. In addition to this, Megan co-ran an open data project in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, that organized and made available academic and military research. She also co-organized the open-source “BIL” Conference, and is a founding member of Women in Hardware — a community for women and non-binary people that are building groundbreaking products and companies at the intersection of the digital and physical world.
Clara Tsao
Clara Tsao is the Founding Director of Filecoin Foundation and Filecoin Foundation for the Decentralized Web. She is also co-founder and on the board of the Trust & Safety Professional Association and the Trust & Safety Foundation. Clara previously was the Senior Advisor for Emerging Technology (IoT and Blockchain) at the Department of Homeland Security and a Chief Technology Officer focused on countering foreign influence, election security, and homegrown extremism. She has spent a decade working in the technology industry at Microsoft, Apple, Sony PlayStation, AT&T, and also as a Google and Mozilla Technology Policy Fellow. Clara is also the Board Chair and President of the White House Presidential Innovation Fellows Foundation and a Senior Advisor at Tech Against Terrorism.
