As a Filecoin Orbit Ambassador, you have the opportunity to engage in thought leadership online regarding Filecoin, IPFS, LibP2P, and more. Posts that spread the Filecoin value proposition & show that Filecoin has a strong and growing community have the chance to be highlighted by our official social channels/blog. Additionally, you should be encouraging those who attend your events to post their own content. This will make your events more successful. Below we’ve shared guidelines and inspiration for creating thought leadership/attendee-generated content:
Blog Posts:
Orbit members are encouraged to create blog posts around their Orbit experience, communities, what Filecoin means to them/their community, projects built during Orbit hackathons/built on Filecoin, and more. Check out this official blog on the Orbit program for inspiration:
Blog Ideas:
What does Orbit/Filecoin/web3 mean to you?
How did you get involved in web3 and then Orbit?
How does Filecoin help your community?
Your experience hosting your first Orbit meetup.
Attendee-Generated Content:
As your local community grows, you should help to amplify the voices of those who attend your meetups. The more attendees that post social content around Orbit/Filecoin, the more successful your event is. As an ambassador, you have the opportunity to order Filecoin swag for events.
Incentivize your swag by giving it away to those who make a post about the meetup they attended. Attendees should be encouraged to tweet about your event including photos, event info (location, community name), and #FilecoinOrbitCommunity #Filecoin.
